Can HPV Warts Be Prevented?

The FDA had approved HPV vaccines such as Gardasil and Gardasil 9. HPV vaccines can protect men and women from the most common HPV strains that cause genital warts, as well as HPV strains related to cancer.

Gardasil 9 protects against a total of 9 viral types (hence the name). The HPV vaccine can be given to patients as young as nine years old. For adult, GARDASIL 9 should be administered 3-dose schedule, at 0, 2 months, and 6 months.
